One Day at a Time

Hello there once again.

I have completed another semester.
I am still tutoring students in Computer Information Technology.
It is a part time job, just 8 hours a week in Summer.
I am working online from home now. This has been my dream.
My life still keeps changing and for the better.

I went back to school in Fall 2006 for E-commerce applications and learned to build
a shopping cart. Woo hoo! Actually it was a very fun class and it was using ASP.net
and Visual Basic.net programming language.
Hey, I may never need a shopping cart at my age. But one never knows.

I had major back surgery in January. I had 5 level laminectomy with fusion
of bone from my pelvis and 2 metal rods about 5 inches long
and 10 screws were inserted into my spine to stabilize my weakened back.
My bones are soft from osteoporosis so the surgery was touchy.
I had spinal stenosis and scoliosis and the Dr said he couldn't straighten my
spine since my vertebrae
were fused together in a backward S curve. I was born backwards. LOL j/k.

I will try to add more soon.
I am recovering but it will take some time to know how much recovery I will have.
My nerves were all twisted and crushed from my spine and now that it is fixed we wait...

On January 24, 2009, I write that my back is still giving me problems.
I have a good it of pain in my hips and legs too.
I still tutor 2 days a week for 4 hours and the rest of the time I live one hour at a time.
My life is difficult and I recently found out that I have been living with ADHD
all of this time and never knew it. Though I knew something was wrong.
So now I am trying to accept my life as it is and change what I can.
I am not always strong and many times my faith has wavered,
but I know that God has brought me through a lot in my life.
I really believe he won't let me down now.
One day at a time!
